- We have a curn in our home. It is about three and a half feet in height, and the bottom part of it is wider than the top. The churn is composed of a lid, a churn dash, and a cláibín.
We churn once and sometimes twice in the week. Before putting the milk into the churn, the churn is well washed, scrubbed and scalded in boiling water.
