    19-10-1938.
    Nearly every field on our farm has its own particular name. There is one called the 'Big Garden.' It is a very big field and very probably that is the reason why it is called the 'Big Garden.'
    There is a field situated to the east of our house called the 'Long meadow' My grandfather told me the meadow grows very long and thick in this field and that explains its name.
