    grazing in the field outside the fort. Large lights are seen also at intervals which illuminates the whole fort. Caves and underground passages are believed to be there and a little ivy bush covers a hole, where a treasure was found. Near my home is a lake of expansive beauty. Nearby are two mounds, called "dúnáns", with bushes planted on their summits. These mounds were built by the Danes.
    It is also said that chiefs were buried here and treasures were hidden too. Once neighbours gathered together and dug for it. They came to a flat stone, and then the crowd dispersed for the evening, promising to complete the work next day. In the night a party came and took the treasure. In the lake is an island, which is also supposed to be built by the Danes.
