  2. There lived in the town of Boyle a man named Luke Finneran.
    He was noted for his comical ways of saying and doing things. He was never known to say thanks for any thing he was given. One day King Harmon of Rockingham was out walking with an English man. When King Harmon saw him coming he made a bet with the Englishman that here was a man that would never say thanks no matter what he was given to him. The English man accepted the bet confident that he would win. When they met King Harmon introduced Luke to the Gentleman.
    Then after a while taking the Englishman remarked that Luke was in need of clothes.
