    If the smoke tosses round, It is a sign of bad weather.
    Clouds If the clouds run very quickly and are very black it is a sign of rain. But if the clouds are white and stand still in the sky is a sure sign of fine weather.
    Sun If the sun rises very red in the morning it is a sign of a bad day, and if the sun sets red in the evening it is a sign of a fine day the next day
    Moon If there is a circle round the moon it is another sign of rain.
    Stars If the stars shine very brightly we may expect frost: if they shoot it is a sign of rain
    Insects
    Crickets sing very sharpely when rain is near.
    Clocks and Beetles come from their hiding places, when rain is approaching
    Dogs. Wet weather may be expected when we see the Dogs eating grass.
