    Long ago there was very often fights among the people. These fights were made known at all the people and a crowd always gathered to see the fight. The people of this parish on the Glenkit mountain where many of these fights took place. The place of the fights can still be pointed out. Some old people can still remember these fights and witnessed them.

    On the road between Cappanara and Camross there is a tree called the Monument Tree. This tree is in Derry. Long ago a man was killed here. He was found one morning killed under a car. His son was with him and said that something unseen frightened the horse. The place where he was killed can still be seen,
