Thomas Hickey Kilkenny Road Gowran Co Kilkenny was a good hero, he fought for the Pope against Garrybaldy.
James Ryan Gowran Co Kilkenny was a strong man, he was able to throw a half a hundred weight twelve yards.
Jim Breen, Patrick Murphy and Larry Breen were all good mowers they could mow over an acre in a day.
Patrick Ivory was a good dancer. He used to teach dancing to some of the people in Gowran long ago, he won many meadles at competitions in dancing.
Jim Morrissey was a good singer. He used to sing for the men when he was young.
