In recent years a stone balcony was build in front of the Court house with two flights of stone steps leading onto it. The part in which the men of law assemble is "The court house" and the part underneath is called the "lock up." In the "lock up" drunken men who act unruly in the city are kept overnight.
The court house is situated next to the market where potatoes and other vegetables are sold. The parliment house has given the name to the street in which it situated. It is called Parliment Street.
