  1. Local Marriage Customs
    Matrimony is a very important Sacrament for man and woman. Most marriages take place between New Year's day and Ash Wednesday.
    There are a lot of superstitions connected with days on which marriages take place. Here are some lucky and unlucky ones:
    Monday for health.
    Tuesday for wealth.
    Wednesday the best day of all,
    Thursday for losses.
    Friday for crosses.
    Saturday no day at all.
    At a marriage the bride should wear
    Something old,
    Something new,
    Something borrowed,
    Something blue.
    There is also an old superstition
