They were overjoyed when they saw all the food, and they sat down to eat a good meal, for the first time in many months. The poor people were weak from hunger, but still they ate a good meal. Alas! on the next day, the father and mother of the house were dead, and everyday for about a week after that, the young people of the house were dying, until they were all dead. They were so weak with hunger, that when they had eaten such a good meal, they got kind of choked and smothered, and they were not able to live.
