    Oakley Park got its name from an estate called Oakley Park which is not part of the townland. It is divided into small farms now.
    There are five people over seventy years in this townland. They do not know Irish but they can tell stories about local happenings. Their names are Pat Dempsey, Freddy Fagan, Mrs. Farrell and Mrs. Langley. Their addresses are Oakley Park, Celbridge, County Kildare.
    There were more houses in the townland in olden times because the land was agricultural but at presnet it is devoted to the rearing of cattle. When the tilling of
