At the same time in the Covent School here, there was a nun, who was a sister of the Parish Priest. She looked out of her window one night, and saw funerals passing. They had been passing all day. "I will be the next and the last," she said. The next morning she got the fever and did. She was the last in this district to die of the fever.
There was a woman in this district who gave soup to the people. But she would only give it on Friday. The people were so hungary that they did not care what day it(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
