- A poet named Mr Robinson lived in Loughfuder in Knocknagoshel about twenty years ago. He made the following poem at the request of George Barry a tinsman whom the Parish Priest would not marry because of a crime he committed:-
"Most worthy and kindhearted Reverend Priest,
