  1. The following occured on an eve when a number of boys were on their way to visit a neighbours house. One evening a young man who was on his way to a neighbours house saw a hare running along the road right in front of him at which he threw a stone and broke its leg. He watched to see if the hare would go into the fort which was some distance away. When returning home about midnight the young man stood on a stone and hurt his foot.
    He managed to get home somehow and went to bed. His foot was so sore next morning that he was obliged to
