  1. Once upon a time there lived in a house in Daughloonagh a woman and her son. That time it was the custom to make Colcannon (Calley) on Hollow E'en and this woman used to make it.
    One Hallow E'en she had not the bolcannon made and her son was waiting. He then said to his mother that he would go out to the field to see where the horse was and when he arrived in the field where the horse was it was almost filled with horses on which there were men riding. His horse was also there with a saddle on him. Then the fairy men invited him for a ride and mounting his horse he went with them. They did not cease riding until that night twelve months.
