There are no traditions or stories told about them. There used to be dances at cross roads in olden days. There are no heaps of stones near by anywhere. - About a hundred years ago there was a road leading to Slligo which started at Coolbock and came across hills and across a farm owned by John Alexander, and then along a lane which leads past our dwelling house now.
