- One day three women went into a farmer's house. The first one asked for a pot she was not long gone when the second woman came and asked for a griddle. The woman of the house said she wanted to make bread. But after a time she gave it to her, and told her to bring it back when she had finished. She went away and the third woman came and asked for a kettle. She asked her what she wanted them all for and she said she would bring them back soon. She gave her the kettle and after five minutes the three women brought them back. They said she was a lucky woman not to refuse them and they went away.
