    5. The Gladum leaf:-
    It cured the "lithna" (mumps). The leaves were pulled and held before the fire until they began to sweat. They they were held to the affected part.
    A cabbage held to the fire until it sweated and applied to a sprained ankle cured it.
    "St. Cuan's Well" is popular up to the present day and people go to do stations there that their ailments may be cured.
