The people used home spun cloth long ago but nowadays there is no home-spun cloth used. It is bought in the shops. Socks are made in my parish nowadays both children socks and mens. Some people buy the thread in the shops and then makes the socks at home but in my village the people make the thread themselves with a spinning wheel and then make the socks. The home-spun thread is by far better than the thread that is bought in the shops. There are seven houses in my village where spinning wheels are.
