We have cows, sheep, pigs, horses, cattle and calves at home on the farm. When a man is driving cows he says "Haba haba" We call two of our calves "Frisk' and "Bet" We call our cows Minnie, Nancy, Molly, and Polly. We call the house where the cows are kept - the cow-house. We tie our cows with a chain round their necks.
This is an old story about a cow. A man was going along the road driving a cow when he met a woman who said 'That is a lovely cow that you have.' The man passed on and after a short time the cow fell on the road and would not get up though not hurt. The man thought of the woman. He went back to the woman and made her say "God bless the cow.' The cow got better and was alright again."
The cow fell because the woman did not bless it when she praised it.
