When she came in she went back in the room with a bottle of whiskey, he followed back the woman in the room and killed her. When he had her killed he brought over the whiskey and they drank it. Yet a spade said the man of the house and make a grave in the garden. When the grave was made the man told him to rise the woman on his back, he did and when he got him gone he went off as fast as he could. He heard him coming after him, and he saw light in another house and went in.
The woman of the house was drying flax, and he told her his story and to tell the man he was gone over the road. She told the man what he told her. "Tis good for him said the man turning home. He fell asleep in the house, and he hit his head against the flax, and it fell in the fire, and the house began burning, and he ran off as fast as he could.
