- There were three tailors in this district long ago. They did all their work. The people buy all the cloth and give it to the tailor to make a suit. There is cloth spun locally and some people wear it.
The implements a tailor uses are scissors, a thimble, and a machine. Shirts are not made at home, they are bought. There is no account of shirts made from flax locally. There are socks and stockings made at home, and the thread is spun at home. There are five spinning wheels in the district. There are no sayings or traditions connected with tailors or tailoring.
