  1. Long ago the people used to go catching birds at night with lanterns. It is often they caught twenty blackbirds and thrushes. The people do not go hunting them now because it is against the law. Some people catch finches with bird-lime. The only animal that are caught around here is the rabbits. He is caught by a snare or by a trap. The snare is made with brass wire formed into a hoop and a cord is put on it and then a peg is put at the end of the cord. There is a small stick to keep up the snare on the path.
