The priest got out a book and started to read over the worm. The more the priest read the worm got bigger and bigger until it faded away altogether.
The priest was eighteen hours reading over the worm. Then he told the man to lift up the pot. He did so and sure enough it was full of gold. He gave half of it to the priest for all his trouble and he kept the rest himself.
