    Long ago there were many beggars in Shrule.

    again. Maire Winston had a tent near Salógs. She was a small woman. She used to sell apples and oranges. There were also other beggars who had houses but used to beg. Their names were John Basket and John Flynn. John Basket used to make a living by selling baskets. John Flynn had a small cabin not much bigger than a pig-sty.
