  1. A sure for the whooping cough is to slice a turnip and to let shake brown sugar between the layers and to let it on a plate for about an hour and to give the juice that comes out to the person.
    A cure for "Buleg" is, when a cow gets the "Buleg" the cure is to cut her tongue and to burn hay under her nose.
    The cure for Airde na Péiste is to take off your inside shirt and to run around the cow and to hit the cow each time with the shirt. There is a charm on to this but my father would not tell me.
