    My Native Village
    I dwell in the village of Carracanada. It is situated on the side of a bye-road and is half a mile from the main road leading from Swinford to Kiltimagh. It is about a mile from the town of Swinford. There are twenty seven houses in the village. Most of them are slated with three rooms and a kitchen in each.
