    locally. The old people made potatoes cakes from boiled potatoes and flour and and a grain of salt.
    Boxty bread was made out of a few boiled potatoes and a few raw ones the people had a scraper which they used for scraping the raw potatoes they (heo) kneaded the raw potatoes and the boiled ones some flour and a pinch of salt to gether this was called boxty bread.
