    my mother went to was Carrowmore in the parish of Killasser. The names of the teachers were Mrs Casey and Mr. Casey. They lived beside the school.
    There was not Irish spoken in the school my mother went to nor was it spoken by the master or pupils.
    It was all English books that were used in the school that my mother went to. Most of the writing was done on slates with slate pencils. There were about six
