  1. There are a lot of roads in this parish. There is a man to take care of every road. The names of the roads are -: The Mill Pool road because there was a mill on the side of it and there was a stream running under the road and it was called the Mill stream. The mountain road because it leads to the mountain. The Sellernane road because it goes through the townsland of Sellernane. The Shannon road because it leads to the Shannon.The upper road because it goes through the upper part of the parish.
