    from the two side walls a strong lump of a stick with each of its ends built into the two side walls. There are two floors each of them facing each gable. A trinket[?] is made between the two floors called the groop. About a foot and a half out from the corner of each gable a lump of a stick is sunk down into the ground. My father put a ring in the top of the stick and then tied it to the top stick. There was place made for the ring to run up and down the stick.
    When the people drive cows they say "howy" and when calling them they say "te". When calling
