    The people held him as a bad man because he would pross for the rent if it would not be paid on the day due. Others times he would be said to be good because he would not be as hard on them.
    When the land was being bought out he held his land as long as he could leaving the farmers a long time to have to pay rent. This Landlord made no evictions but he treatened to do it often.
