  1. The following are the games in this district are Cat and Dog, Skittles, marbles, spinning tops, corners, Jack-stones, Hop-scoth, tig and Hide and seek.
    "Cat & Dog"
    "Cat and Dog" is played with two sticks. One a large one called the "dog" is about 12 inches long. The other one called the "cat" is 4 inches and is pointed at both ends.

    The "cat" is placed on a ledge and the "batter" hits the "cat" with the "dog". His opponent tries to catch it while it is in the air. If he succeeds the "batter" is out. If he fails the "batter" leaves the "dog" down and the "fielder" throws the "cat" from where it has alighted. If he hits the "dogs" the "batter" is out. The winner is the person who hits the "cat" the farthest. The distance is measured with the "dog"
