    Down in Corravacan Glen,
    That old historic place,
    Where many a time assembled
    Ancestors of our race.
For oft in dark and evil days
    When gold was freely paid
For pastors head and master's head
'Twas there they met and prayed.

The rugged Glen runs thro' the land
    Right from the public pass
That Glen where Owen led thro' his men
And where the priest said mass.
The faithful used to gather there
    Upon the mossy sod
    Far from fear or shame
    To offer sacrifice to God.
