    They are not generally welcome. When they come to Ennis they camp in Clonroad, at the back of St. Flannan's College, down Tobar Taoscán and up the Rocky Road. The Rocky Road and Tobar Taoscán are closed against them now. They often have caravans in which they sleep but sometimes they have only a canvas tent. They buy food in the town but they also ask for it, for tea, sugar, milk, potatoes and meat but
