  1. Roads
    Some roads were made during the famine. The wages the men had was four pence a day and to feed themselves. It must be a century ago. They were made from the fields. The people cut the sods from the fields and cut ditches and trees and made the roads. Then they covered them with gravel.
    There is a mass path from Paddy Mc Mahons to the road at John Brackens
