  1. On Easter Sunday the children have a cludog; this means they have a fire out in the open air and boil eggs and make tea and play games. On May Eve it is customary to clean out the well. On St John's night fires are lit at the crossroads. On Hollowe'en a lot of tricks are played. On the 6th of January or the twelfth day the feast of Little Christmas is celebrated.
    It is celebrated nearly as much as (little) Christmas day. On the feast of the Assumption people visit the holy well.
