  1. 16. To cure scalds in cattles feet you have to get blue-stone and wet it and put it into the animals hoofs. It is very pain-ful for a while.
    17. To cure a belly ache in a calf you have to give the animal a ball of blue and hold it on its back, or else a hand ful of soda.
    18. To cure thrush in horses feet you have to take off the shoe and make a hole in its hoof and fill it with spirits of salts and stuff the hole with wadding.
    19. To cure fits in dogs you have to give them a few drops of Turpentine.
    20. To cure pox on cows you have to melt tallow-candle and put it on them.
