  1. There is a Holy Well in the townland of Tarragh called St. Oonas.
    This well is sait to have been situated on the side of a hill in the townland of Teircullen on the opposite side of the road.
    Tradition has it, that a woman washed clothes in the well and that it followed her untill it overtook her on the right-hand side of the Cavan-Crossdoney road, about three and quarter miles from Cavan and one mile from Crossdoney.
    The old people in the district do not remember this to happen.
