    1. Blood Purifier
    1/2 oz cream of tarter
    1/4 lb sulphur
    1 - treacle
    To be mixed together and a teaspoonful taken fasting every morning.
    2. Liver Diseases
    Tea made from dandelion roots and leaves and taken every morning.
    3. Colds
    1/ Garlic boiled on sweet milk to be taken going to bed.
    2/ Lemon roasted on the hearth and eaten skin and all at bedtime.
    3/ Butter-milk gruel made from oaten porridge, buttermilk and sugar and also taken at bed-time.
