   was very severe on him. When he went home his mother got vexed with him for bringing these things home. He got a knife and killed her, he got the horn and blew into his mothers ear but all in vain, his mother remained dead.
   Next day he went to the other man to bring him away. When he came to the house the woman said the man was out but she had a messenger who would call him in. The woman let out a rabbit and the man came in "Well" said the other man "that is a very useful messenger you have "Yes" said the owner. "he will do anything you ask him he will pay rates and rent. "Well" said the man "would you sell him "I would if I got a good price" he said. I will give you fifty pound for the rabbit "very well" said he and when he came home he tied £5 on the rabbit's neck. The rabbit went out to a drain and did not return. Next day he came to him. He brought with him a cart on which he put the man. They came to a public house and he went in to have a drink. The man who was in the bag was shouting going to Heaven in a bag. While he was doing so there came a man with cattle. This man asked him to let him in and he would give him the cows. When the owner of the cart came out and went on until he came to a river and he threw the man and bag into the river and turned home with the cart. When he
