    Long ago people were generally married before and after Lent and Advent. They got married generally in the first part of the week on Monday, Thuesday, and Wednesday. They hardly ever got married on Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
    They had a belief long ago that the first four days of the week were lucky, but the last three were unlucky. If people got married on Monday
