  1. There is only one forge in this district. James Cormac is the smith's name who owns the forge. His father was not a smith before him. He was the only smith in the family. The forge is situated on the side of a narrow lane on the outskirts of the village of Cadamstown This is leading to the Deerpark It is about forty yards away from the cross roads and it is on the lane side.
    The forge is a fairly big house. It has three windows and is thatched with straw. There is only one fireplace in it. It is said that the forge water will cure warts. The local smith is said to have a privilage. He is a very strong man.
