  1. The Burrough Bridge was swept away by a heavy flood in the year 1,919. It left a gap in the road twenty feet long and thirty feet wide. It was rebuilt three years later by the Offaly County Council.
    This bridge is situated in the Parish of Kinnitty, in the Townland of Lismooney, and in the Barony of Ballybritt.
