    this well, In the hollow of a tree which is growing beside it there is always water, even when all the spring wells dry up. It is still to be seen to this day.
    There is a druid's altar not far from St. Brigit's well also and an old church where Mass was said in olden times, and St. Brigit stopped there on her way to Clonmacnoise.
