- At the ruins there is a stone trough. When the Danes destroyed the monastery a falling stone brorke the trough. Some time ago local people used to fill this trough from the Blessed well.
- Pat Dunne told me that there was a path going from the "Bog Road to the Clonminch Road and all the people made used of it as a short cut to go to town but there is no trace of it now.
