  1. The Old Hat: It is called The Old Hat because it is high in the middle and low on the sides and it is in the shape of a hat.
    The Hollow Field: It is called that name because is down in a hollow.
    Kiln Field: It is called by that because there was a kiln for drying corn in it long ago.
    The Race Field: It was given that name because there was a races held in it at one time.

    Dalys Field: Named after a Daly family who lived in John Coyne's field, Bracklin, Kilbeggan, Co Westmeath.
    Wills' Field: Named after a man who lived in our field but is now dead.
    Tommie Dunne's Field: Called after him because he owned that field.
