  1. One night my uncle was coming down from Thorps. When he was coming down at Bridget Malones corner he saw a dog and a man riding with a swallowtail coat, and a foxes tail for whipping the dog. He had a branch of a tree in his hand and was going to hit him with it when all of a sudden he disappeared over the ditch. Afew nights after he was coming the same road and he saw a big white woman in the same place. it is said to be haunted.
