  1. The Holy Well at Ferns
    To the East of Ferns there is a blessed well dedicated to the memory of our patron Saint. It is known locally as Mogue's Well.
    Many people have been cured of various ailments by drinking of the water of the well. When a person wishes to be cured he or she is expected to visit the well on nine consecutive days + to say three Hail Mary's on each occasion.
    It is believed that there are three gold fishes in the Well.
    There are foot prints to be seen on the steps leading to the well. They are believed to have been made by the Blessed Virgin.
