    There are various signs by which the state of the weather can be portended.
    1. When a cat sits with her back to the fire it is a sign of bad weather.
    2. A rainbow in the morning is a sailors warning, a rainbow at night is a sailors delight.
    3.When a storm is approaching the sea-gulls gather together on the land.
    4.The south wind brings most rain to our district.
    5. Dark evening are the best for fishing.
    6. March dust is worth a shovel-ful of gold.
